Thank You by Ray Boltz
Tis the season for charity. Everywhere we turn, organizations are raising money for people who are homeless, hungry, and/or disabled. Perhaps one of the most popular fundraising campaigns every Christmas is the Salvation Army with their red kettles and ringing bells. I always feel bad for putting in loose change or maybe a $1 bill. Sometimes I’ve seen $20 bills sticking halfway out of the bucket from the last person who gave and I feel like I’m not doing enough. Its tempting to think that the person who gives more is a better person, but that’s not true at all. Jesus is thankful for everything that we give to Him no matter the size or amount. It’s the desire to give that He really wants from us, not big checks. This Christmas season, may we remember that no matter what we give, we will be impacting the life of another person somewhere. That’s all it takes to be Jesus’ hands and feet.
