I wanted to take the opportunity on occasion to feature some exceptional Catholic resources I have come to know over the years.  I’ll begin with one that tops my personal ‘favorites’ list, authored by a man who also happens to be a friend.

If you’re a Catholic who likes to read, The Thin Veil is for you. Run by a young Catholic convert named Brandon Vogt, the site features more than 100 Catholic book reviews as well as a special giveaway each week. It also sports several book lists like The Best Catholic Books of All-Time, How to Build a Catholic eBook Library on the Cheap, and Brandon’s Favorite 15 Books of 2011.

In addition to books, Brandon writes on theology, spirituality, and Catholic new media. Some of his most popular posts include:
Brandon is the author of the recently-released, Church and New Media: Blogging Converts, Online Activists, and Bishops Who Tweet and continues to write on both faith and technology.
Whether you’re looking for a must-read book, insights on new media, or article on the general spiritual life, be sure to check out The Thin Veil.
