ADVENT 2017

December 3rd – 24th

Advent is a busy time of year with the hustle and bustle of shopping, parties, baking, and more.  Most people treat it like Christmas is already here even though it is a separate season unto itself.  Advent comes from the Latin word adventus which means “arrival.”  It is a time of waiting and preparation so that our hearts are ready to receive the Christ child when Christmas finally comes.
