Everywhere we go, someone is trying to convince us that we need “more.” Our song this week expresses just how disenchanting our world can be. We know in our minds that Jesus is most important, but how does that translate into our daily actions and choices? Do we always have to have the latest piece of technology or the newest fashions? The Church teaches that things in themselves are not evil, but that they should never take the place of Christ in our hearts. If someone were to shadow you for a day, what would they say is most important to you?
