If You Want Me To by Ginny Owens

Sometimes when I’m going through one struggle after another, I look up and say, “Really, Lord?!”  I’m sure I’m not the only one who sometimes feels that there’s no end to such struggles.  It’s during these times that I’m reminded of one of my favorite gospel passages about the disciples on the road to Emmaus.  The disciples had to deal with the struggles of the Lord’s passion and death, but did not do so alone.  Jesus drew close to them, met them where they were on the road of life, and walked with them.  He does the same with us today by accompanying us in our struggles wherever we are.  In this song, Ginny Owens reminds us that yes, there are trials in this life, but that we will never be alone in them.  There’s a great deal of comfort in that.
