God’s Will by Martina McBride
We know that the Lord works in mysterious ways, perhaps most unexpectedly in the people that we encounter. It is difficult to ignore the face of God in an innocent child, a senior citizen, or someone with special needs. It’s funny how those regarded as “the least of these” have a way of teaching us the greatest lessons. I’m sure we’ve all met someone who reminds us that God is with us through simple actions or words. We come away knowing that we’ve been in His presence and our hearts have been opened. This song tells the story of such an experience. How easy it is for us to let ourselves be jaded by the culture and times we live in. Through it all, we’re called to look with the eyes of faith and let others show us the Father’s love. I hope we’re never too jaded to recognize Him. Perhaps someday it will be us who show Him to others.
