Jane discusses her impending pilgrimage to Medjugorje with a woman at the shop whose family is originally from the area. Jane learns that the woman speaks Croatian and asks for help learning a few phrases to get her by. She addresses the Church’s neutral stance on the apparitions and prays for greater faith to believe them herself.
I think it’s no coincidence that Jane works with someone who has connections to her pilgrimage destination. The Lord is obviously giving her everything she needs to have a successful journey. There have been moments in my own travels where this has also been the case. The phrase “If He brings you to it, He will bring you through it” hasn’t let me down yet.
