Merry Christmas from the St. Joseph Educational Center! We wish you and yours a blessed holiday season filled with joy and peace. In keeping with the spirit of the season, this week’s song is a beautiful reflection on the Savior coming to be with us. One of my favorite parts of the season is seeing all the nativity scenes set up in church and in people’s yards. They’re all different, but they all depict the same idea: God came to dwell with us as a human being! How blessed we are to serve a God who humbled Himself to take the form of a helpless babe who depended on His mother for everything. It brings me peace to think that God Himself walked this earth and shares in our common humanity because it reminds me that I am never alone. The next time you look at a nativity scene, remember that it is more than just a decoration; it’s a representation of something that really happened.
