There’s no shortage of things in this world to make us doubt our loving God.  From job loss and hunger to death and tragedy, we are surrounded.  There are days when I feel like I’m waiting for the proverbial second shoe to drop because it’s just been that kind of a week, month, or year.  During these times we’re torn between clinging to God and doubting Him.  We question why bad things happen to good people.  However, we must never forget that there’s a rainbow after the storm.  Sometimes we must pass through obstacles before we can have the prize of peace, joy, or comfort.  We need to remember that, no matter what is going on in our lives, God is using it to mold and shape us into the person He calls us to be.  It may be a while before we see what God’s plan was the whole time, but we can rest assured that He does have a plan and our salvation is part of it.

Lisa, I love this addition to your newsletter. Music is such a beautiful way to pray and connect with our hearts and souls. What a fitting song for today – the 2 year anniversary of my sons death. We were just talking about this song last night. Thank you!!
